Doyou have plans of amassing great wealth and becoming successful, but experience a delay in achieving your goals? Do you feel like there’s something missing to give you that extra edge to do something truly wonderful in your life? Why does it feel like these goals are within your reach, but seem to slip through your fingers?
Lien Keerthisinghe of LienKay Design Solutions & Reiki Haven sought to answer just this question at the session 01 of Evolve, Creating Abundance at HomeTree Coworking on the 13th of February 2020.
According to Lien, Abundance is not just money, a house and a car but it includes a scope of things that aren’t material like love, freedom, and serenity. So whether the abundance you’re looking for is material or not, it all boils down to finding happiness and fulfillment. If you ask yourself what makes you happy, the answer is rarely money. While money can pave the way to experiences and things that make you happy, in the end, it’s much deeper than that. So why is it that these goals feel difficult to achieve?
We all have certain mindsets and belief systems ingrained in us that prevent us from achieving what we want. The subconscious then takes our limiting beliefs as the truth and will do everything and anything in its power to make them happen.
Fear is also a limiting factor. When we don’t feel like we deserve something, or we are so afraid of failure that we just tell ourselves that we can’t do it, we give life to that thought.
But there is a way to break the limitations that we’ve collected over time, by conditioning our brain to embrace the positive things that come our way, instead of repelling them.
According to Tony Robbins, “where your focus goes, energy flows.” So the way you get started is by focusing on what you want. Then you need to commit to the idea and take action.
Deepak Chopra says that there are 6 steps to creating abundance.
First, you need to turn negativity into positive action. Then you need to get a healthy outside perspective. You need to stop indulging in the level of futility, for example, feeling victimized and that you have no way of making things better. Then, you need to expand your awareness. The best way to do this is by meditation. You also need to take full responsibility for the tasks you need to complete to achieve your goals and then develop a high vision for your life.
In this hustle towards achieving bigger and better things, we forget to be thankful for what we have and to love the people around us. But on the journey towards creating abundance, it is focus, action, gratitude, and love that pave the way to our goals.
Indu Nanayakkara, who met Lien Kay at an event, decided to join him on this journey and has since noticed the change it made in her life. She said that she was met with exciting new opportunities and she achieved her goals, simply by waking up 20 minutes earlier than she normally would and then starting her day with a positive thought.
After 15 minutes of meditation, Lien invited all those who were present to join him on the 21-meditation challenge. It is designed to help you develop a mindset of prosperity and abundance in your daily life by working with a series of short meditations each day. The link to sign up is on www.lienkay.com.
So if you are ready for change and willing to move forward, this is the first place to start. Break-free of what’s holding you back so that you can live a truly happy and abundant life.
