Imagine waking up refreshed on a Monday morning after a great weekend, excited to take on your tasks for the day at work. You have a plan to tackle that big project you’ve been putting off, and you feel a sense of purpose wash over you.
This is not the case for most individuals who are employed today. The stress at work tends to over-power everything they are passionate about and sometimes seeps into their personal lives, meaning they’re constantly uneasy.
As the world of work progresses, it is important to strike a balance between work and personal life, but it is difficult to shine if you’re neglecting yourself.
This is why HomeTree Coworking started the personal development initiative called iThrive, which launched on the 05th of February 2020. Kicking off at 6:00 PM, the event was graced by notable speakers such as Gaia Kodithuwakku, Shanuki De Alwis, Kumudini David, Lien Kay, and Sarani Tillekeratne, who are celebrated in their niches of self-mastery. During the event, mural artists Shahdia Jamaldeen and Safiya Sideek created two masterpieces on the walls with their own personal touch.
